Open Africa Business Forum is a communication platform designed to enhance business co-operation between African and Russian industries. As at November 11, 2022, African countries that had confirmed participation for the Moscow event include Burundi, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Rosatom Hosts Second International Fishing Tournament

The competition was held on September 7-8 in the PRO ANGLERS LEAGUE format – a European tournament for spinning for fish from boats – and brought together athletes from 10 countries (including Russia) at the Gulf of Finland. The event was held close to the Leningrad NPP, Russia's largest operating nuclear power plant in terms of installed capacity and one of the first in the world to receive cutting-edge Generation III+ VVER-1200 reactors offered by Rosatom globally. A conference about Small Modular Reactor (hereinafter – “SMR”) technology was held by Russia and Ghana in Accra on August 24. The Workshop is a part of countries’ cooperation in the field of nuclear technologies. The event was opened by Mr. Ryan Collyer, CEO of Rosatom Central and Southern Africa, who noted that Ghanaian-Russian cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy is especially important.   Rosatom engineering division (Atomstroyexport JSC) and Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Co. Ltd. (KHNP) have concluded a contract for the construction of turbine islands under the El-Dabaa NPP project in Egypt. On June 29, 2022, the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) issued a permit for the construction of the El-Dabaa NPP Unit 1. “Today, we were granted the permit to build the first unit of the first Egyptian nuclear power plant.
