ICWEA-Rwanda Chapter organized 16 Days of Activism against GBV

Breaking silence

The International Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS Eastern Africa- Rwanda Chapter organized the 16 Days of Activism against GBV t in different sectors of Kigali City.

Isabella Nizeyimana Country manager of ICWEA-Rwanda Chapter with impamba.com interview said that the theme of these activities was based on combating violence against women and girls living with HIV / AIDS virus.

In Nyarugunga Kicukiro District in 16 days of activities, ICWEA-Rwanda Chapter advised the women infected with HIV / AIDS and their neighbors who were not infected.

Community gathering

The other beneficiaries of this message for fighting against HIV / AIDS are some girls who gave birth in their home in order to help them to know much about health reproduction and family planning without other consequence.

The beginning of 16 Days of Activism against GBV was on the 25th November and the end was on 10 December 2019.
